Today we went outside and practiced using lighting outside to take photos. This week has been fun! I have learned a lot and I have made lots of progress on Headshot Happy Hour. All we need to do now is get it to sell! This week I have learned about lighting, posing, how to network, how to promote, and how to take good photos of people! It has been fun so far, excited for next week.

Today we took pictures! We had one of Gary's models come in and we took some photos. It was a lot of fun. I learned about posing and what poses will look good on some people but not well on others.
Today I worked on my flyer to promote Headshot Happy Hour. I also did research about depth of field. I had a fun day. We also planned a shoot for tomorrow. I get to take pictures!!!
My project is in the works!!! We basically spent all day going around to places around Durango that might want to be a part of Headshot Happy Hour! We know what my project is. Go check out the LINK Project tab on my DP to see what Headshot Happy Hour is all about!!
Day one was short but fun. I met with Gary for a little bit so we could discuss our plans for the next couple of weeks. We talked about what I was going to learn and what my project might be!
I am going to intern at Durango Family Photography with Mr. Gary Vandenberg. Mr. Gary Vandenberg is the owner and operator of Durango Family Photography. This is a photography business that does pictures of people, like family portraits, senior portraits, etc. I am excited to go and learn more about photography. I have only been doing it for a short amount of time so I know I will learn a lot. And I am so excited for that. I have e-mailed many companies up in the Denver area but many of them said they did not want an intern or if they had an intern they would want one for longer than just a month. My goals are to learn as much as possible and to progress my photography skills. I am looking forward to my internship!
